Masjid At-Taqwa Marriage Form

In Islamic law, the verbal agreement of the groom and the bride in front of two witnesses solemnises the marriage, known as Nikah in Islam. Nikah is an (Islamic) religious ceremony and it is not recognised by law as a civil marriage in most Non-Muslim countries.

This certificate is not a requirement for the validity of the Islamic religious ceremony and not a legally recognised document unless authorised and approved as per local law.

Everyone attending the ceremony are kindly requested to observe the Islamic dress code in line with the Islamic values.

No food allowed on premises, with the exception of sweets distributed after the Nikah.

Decorations, frames, or partitions are not permitted to be brought in for Nikah ceremonies.
