Our Madrasah provides quality Islamic education for children of all ages. We offer a structured curriculum covering Quran recitation, memorisation (Hifz), Islamic studies, and Arabic language.

Marriage Services
Nikah Services
Masjid At-Taqwa provides Islamic marriage (Nikah) services for members of our community. Our experienced Imam conducts ceremonies in accordance with Islamic principles.
The Process
Initial Enquiry
Contact the masjid to discuss your requirements and available dates.
Documentation
Submit required documents including ID and any necessary certificates.
Meeting with Imam
Meet with the Imam to discuss the ceremony and complete formalities.
Nikah Ceremony
The ceremony is conducted at the masjid with witnesses present.
Requirements
- Valid photo ID for both parties
- Two male Muslim witnesses (or one male, two female)
- Mahr (dowry) amount agreed upon
- Wali (guardian) for the bride
- Marriage certificate from registry (if applicable)
Fees
Nikah services are provided with a suggested donation to support the masjid. Please contact us for current fee information.
Note: Islamic Nikah is a religious ceremony. For legal recognition in the UK, you must also register your marriage at a registry office or have a registered building ceremony.
Support in Difficult Times
Bereavement Services
During times of loss, our masjid is here to support families through the Islamic funeral process with compassion and care.
Ghusl (Ritual Washing)
We provide facilities and assistance for the ritual washing of the deceased in accordance with Islamic guidelines.
Kafan (Shrouding)
Proper shrouding of the deceased following the Sunnah traditions.
Janazah Prayer
Funeral prayers are held at the masjid with the community in attendance.
Guidance & Support
Our Imam and volunteers provide guidance on Islamic burial procedures and emotional support.
