About Our Nikah Service.
Masjid At-Taqwa provides Islamic marriage (Nikah) services for members of our community. Our experienced Imam conducts ceremonies in accordance with Islamic principles. To enquire please send us an enquiry via the contact us page and we will respond with all further information
Requirements for Nikah
- Valid photo ID for both parties
- Two male Muslim witnesses (or one male, two female)
- Mahr (mandatory gift from groom to bride) agreed upon
- Wali (guardian) for the bride (usually a father or male relative)
- Marriage certificate from registry (if applicable - for legal recognition in the UK)
How to Arrange a Nikah

Initial Enquiry
Send us an email with your name, preferred date(s), and phone number.

Confirmation
We will confirm available dates and provide you with a list of required documents.

Documentation
Submit all required documents and meet with our Imam to discuss the ceremony details.

Nikah Ceremony
The ceremony is conducted at the masjid with witnesses present and in accordance with Islamic principles.
Nikah Fees
Nikah services are provided with a suggested donation to support the running and maintenance of the masjid. Please contact us for current fee information.
Important Note: Islamic Nikah is a religious ceremony. For legal recognition in the UK, you must also register your marriage at a registry office or have a registered building ceremony.
